I used to think that a certain part of my life was hopelessly screwed up
And with this principle I began
I built illusions around myself, making it easier for my mind
I tried to help others with that part of their lives
And I was proud, thinking I had accomplished something, made their lives better
All without realizing how much pain I had really caused
This is a public apology to all of those who ma have gotten caught in the mess,
As sincere as it can be,
I will not ask for forgiveness,
Although the fault is greatly on my part
And as I have experienced such things myself
I hope these things will be forgotten,
And buried beneath the better memories of the past-
